The university has established international exchanges and cooperation with 20 odd colleges and universities from over 10 countries,including the United States of America,Ukraine,Cameroon,Britain,France,Japan,Australia,etc.Various activities have been held,such as short-term visits,exchange of teachers,research co-operation and joint management.
         Since 1977,this university has been authorized to accept short-term and long-term visting students from other countries. Supported by the Ministry of Education,a Chinese Language Training Center has been set up in Cameroon,Africa.Since 1995,over 200 self-funded students have been sent successively by ZJNU to Ukraine for further study.In 1999,a program on Business French and European Affairs was developed between ZJNU and French Rouen Institute deFormation International.Since 2002,this university also started a joint MEA(Master of Education Administration)Degree Program with Edith Cowan University in Australia.At home,ZJNU has established close co-operative relationship with 11 key normal universities in East China.
